Upgrading to an Extended account: Submitting identity documents


In order to get all the perks of an Extended account we are required to have you submit identity verification documents. This can be a tricky process and there are a lot of questions surrounding it. So we made a video starring our very own Directors of Identity Services and Brand & Marketing — Mike and Sona.

Here’s a quick recap of Sona and Mike’s tips for submitting documents:

When submitting a scanned image or digital photograph of your driver’s license, identity card or passport, ensure:

  • All four corners are visible
  • All information is in focus
  • The scan or photo is in colour
  • The document is not expired

When submitting a scanned image or digital photograph of your utility bill, tax bill or government agency letter, ensure:

  • The bill/letter has been issued within the last 3 months
  • The address is current
  • All information is in focus

The following bills are not accepted:

  • Letters from family/friends
  • Mobile phone or internet bills

If you follow these tips, you should have no problems getting your documents approved. If any issues arise, a NETELLER agent is always happy to help you out. Just click the “Email us” link in your account, send a quick message with your question and an agent will either call or email you back.

    i received my plastic card ad nor questionns about sending id documants…..can anybody tell me one reason to send an ID if i put money on the card and I am the one that tries to use the virtual or plastic card to pay ( till this moment unsuccesfull ).
    In a live chat one of the agents tild me it is not needed to send documents so again….reason to send them?

    me podrian decir cuan tiempo tarda ya que hace 3 dias envie los documentos y hasta ahora no recibo respuesta
