Introducing the NETELLER app
Since the release of the NETELLER Desktop in October 2008, we listened to all of your comments about how to make it better. But we decided that the best way to give you what you want was to build a new application. I am really excited to tell you that it launches this month!
An enhanced experience
The NETELLER app will let us make enhancements and changes based on your feedback. It will also be a lot quicker than before and still allow you to securely buy the things you want online.
We also wanted to give you a better user experience and with all of its great features, the NETELLER app really delivers. The app will now run on a widget-based framework so we can deliver all sorts of functions and benefits to your desktop. The first offering at your fingertips include the following news feed widgets:
- NETELLER Twitter feed
- BLUFF Europe
- IGN
- Sporting Life
The Net+ Virtual Prepaid MasterCard® widget
We heard you when you told us you really liked the Net+ virtual prepaid card, so we went ahead and gave it its own widget. The functionality of it has not changed, but we did give it a great new look and feel with customizable settings.
Once you get your Net+ virtual prepaid card and then download the NETELLER app, you’ll have access to all the great features of the virtual card and the aforementioned lifestyle widgets.
What are you waiting for?
Give the NETELLER app a try. It can be installed on any computer running Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7 as its operating system. If you already have a username and password for NETELLER Desktop, you’ll be able to use them to sign in to the NETELLER app later this month.

Today’s post was written by Niall. He is the Director of Product Management and is responsible for our Product Management and User Experience teams. One of his products is the NETELLER Desktop and he is overseeing some upgrades to it.
In the past, we’ve learned that some of the best insight comes from you—the guys who use our service. In the coming months, we are enhancing our NETELLER Desktop in a variety of new and exciting ways.
One new feature is going to be the addition of an RSS widget to aggregate feeds. For the first phase, the feeds are going to be set and we would like to know which feeds you would like. What RSS feeds do you subscribe to? We want any RSS feeds that you like, such as Twitter feeds or your favorite news site.
Ultimately, we want to include the feeds that are important to you and allow your input into the continuous development of the NETELLER Desktop. Leave a comment below of your favourite RSS feeds.
