Desperately seeking gaming PC advice – Alienware or Falcon Northwest?
Posted by Suzanne in Community, Gaming & sports, Video gaming on September 25th, 2009
I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to online gaming. This is why being in the market for a swanky new gaming PC makes me feel like a fish out of water. And to complicate things further, I’m not going to settle for just any gaming PC, I’m looking for one that will beat out all others in the market.
Online shopping for that extreme gaming PC
Before you hardcore gamers lose your cool, rest assured, this PC will not be wasted on myself. It will go to a truly deserving and dedicated gamer. Although now that I think about it, with the combination of an uber-fast PC and my Net+ virtual prepaid card, I could be a force to be reckoned with in the world of online shopping.
Moving along to the topic at hand though, I decided to conduct some intense market research (aka ask around the office) to get some information on the top gaming PCs in the market. My laborious effort resulted in the conclusion that there are two PCs out there that are to online gamers as limitless platinum credit cards are to shopaholics.
I need to make an informed decision but what do I know about PCs? I can admit when I’m in over my head and I’m admitting it now. I would like to use a life line please. I’m calling all gamers out there to help me out. What’s your preference, Alienware or Falcon Northwest?
And I’m not buying this bad boy off the shelf, so let me know what features are must-haves if money’s no object?
