The newest NETELLER hero
The first round of the NETELLER Be a Hero competition is closed. Thanks to everyone who took part by either submitting their banner or voting. Many of the submissions truly embodied what we were looking for.
We had a hard time choosing the winner from our 3 semi-finalists; Tapan, Iury and Søren. They were judged on beauty, poise, personality and how creatively their submission adhered to the Be a Hero theme. But in the end there can be only 1.
So who’s the big winner? Iury! Iury’s the big winner! Congratulations!

Iury won because he knows his game and and he’s passionate about it. This hit us like a ton of bricks because that’s what NETELLER heroes are: passionate. Enjoy your winnings, Iury!
Visit NETELLER.com and check out Iury today!
Again, thanks to everyone who answered the call and made a submission, especially Tapan and Søren for telling us their stories and putting themselves out there for the world to see.
It’s not over yet
There’s been way too much fun to stop this contest now. That’s why we’re making it an ongoing promotion with a winner chosen 4 times per year. So keep those submissions coming in and keep voting for your favourites!

When we first thought of asking our members to make submissions to become the next NETELLER Hero, I was a little worried what we would get. As the variety of banners came in, I’ve had lots of laughs, some eyebrow-raising moments and great conversations around the proverbial NETELLER water cooler.
Thanks to all the heroes
Thanks to everyone who rose to the challenge, told us their story and put themselves out there for the world to see. It was great to see the number of votes that the semi-finalists have gotten.
Our top 3
The 3 semi-finalists are Tapan, Iury and Søren. They were chosen for the high volume of votes they received from friends, family and others that visited the site. Now that we have our top 3, it’s up to the selection committee to decide who will be the next NETELLER Hero.
It will be a tough process, but the committee will rise to the occasion. This isn’t just a popularity contest – these semi-finalists are going to be judged on beauty, poise, personality and how creatively their submission adheres to the Be a Hero theme.
