This is the beginning of a series of posts on our new Money Transfer service.
Between my work, my wife and my twins, I keep very busy—maybe too busy. Sometimes keeping up with birthdays and running errands feels like I’m juggling too many balls at once.
Take sending birthday money to my cousin Petra in Vienna: every year, I try to send her some cash for a nice dinner on the town; every year, it’s a big hassle. I either have to stop into my local bank or a foreign exchange to get some Euros, head down to the post office, buy a stamp and hope that it doesn’t get lost in the mail. Best case scenario, it arrives a week later. If I don’t stay on top of things, Petra will think I forgot her birthday.
But it’s not going to happen like that this year.
That’s because NETELLER has just released a new online money transfer service. I know Petra, tech-savvy gal that she is, will appreciate getting her birthday money instantly. And you better believe that I’ll be happy to save time running around town. Sound like something you’d be interested in?
Here’s how it works:
- Sign in to your NETELLER account
- Deposit money using one of the deposit options
- Choose “Money Transfer” from the “Transfers” tab
- Enter the amount you want to send and the currency you want to send it in (from the 20 global currencies currently available)
- Enter the recipient’s country of residence and email address
- Send the money
Easy, right? Of course, I’ll have to double-check with Petra that I have the correct email address for her – as a lawyer, she’s got a few to choose from, and I want to make sure I’m using the one registered with her NETELLER account.
It makes me happy to know that Petra will be enjoying a huge plate of Wiener schnitzel on me this year. But that’s not the only reason I’m excited for NETELLER Money Transfer. There are tons of great uses for this service and I’ll be keeping you in the loop about some of the others. In the meantime, give the service a try yourself and let me know what you think.
