Today’s post was written by Lea K. She is the Manager of Consumer Marketing and currently manages all customer marketing programs. She is off to London for Poker in the Park and we are all incredibly jealous.
I’m going to London tomorrow to attend Poker in the Park, Europe’s largest poker festival. The event will take place on August 13th and 14th in London’s Leicester Square (pronounced Lester—thank you to Martin, our VP of Worldwide Sales, for his gentle, straight-faced correction—I know he cringed on the inside when I mispronounced it).
Now, if you’d like to tell me how to pronounce Worcestershire sauce, come visit me at the NETELLER booth at the festival. And sign up for a NETELLER account while you’re visiting—I’ll be happy to instantly upgrade your account to VIP status while you’re there (regardless of whether or not you know how to pronounce Worcestershire). Already a member? Great! Come by for a chat and an instant upgrade to VIP status too.
But I’m getting a little ahead of myself. Let me tell you about my preparations to visit London:
- Learn how to pronounce venue location — check
- Ensure we have a booth and signage so you can find me — check
- Pull together a great offer (3 months free VIP status) so you want to find me — check
- Activate my Net+ card so I can shop while in London — check
Now all that’s left is downsizing my luggage: 5 pairs of shoes for 4 days is NOT essential, but my GBP currency Net+ card is so I can buy more if necessary
.
I look forward to checking out some great poker tournaments while at the festival and to meeting like-minded festival visitors. Come by and say “hello” if you’re in the area.
