Despite being born and raised in a country where hockey is less a sport than a religion, my old man refused to put me into any sport that required a huge outlay of cash. Instead, he enrolled me in the Boy Scouts. To this day, I couldn’t tell you the difference between a poke check and a hat-trick, but I could tie you a ridiculous array of knots.
From the response we received from our “What’s your sport” survey, though, it seems we knot-tiers are in the minority.
Regardless of geography, you’ve let us know loud and clear that football is your sport of choice. While Formula 1 fans came in a distant second, you can lord it over your football mad mates that you’ve got three Grand Prix races to look forward to before the football season kicks off. And despite coming in third, you tennis fans are probably not losing sleep over it –– you’re too busy cheering on your favorites in the biggest competition of the season.
Which is all well and good for you sports fans. But I’m more interested in winning than watching. That’s why I’m happy to tell you that Mr. Nicolas C. from France just won 3000 EUR in the last draw of our “It’s my sport” promo.
